Ian Thomas - Musical Director

native, Ian Thomas, has been a musician since the age of six but is
most noted for the 1973 song, "Painted Ladies", which became
a monster hit across North America. The song reached No.4 in Canada
and No.34 in the United States. As a result, Ian won a Juno Award for
'Most Promising Male Vocalist that year.
His hit albums have included
Calabash, Still Here, Glider, and The Runner. Many of the songs from
those albums have been performed by others. Hold On was done by Santana
while The Runners was performed by Manfred Mann, Right Before Your Eyes
by America and Chains was done by Chicago. His latest group, The Boomers,
is very popular in Europe and has produced a number of gold albums
