Philip
is played by 22 year old Dominic Zamprogna who has an impressive list
of credits given his young age. For the past three seasons, Dominic has
been the series lead, Mark, in the CBC/Fox Family teenage series Edgemont.
Trained at the Hamilton Place summer theatre school, this native Hamiltonian
has a long list of credits in film, TV, radio drama and animation voice
overs.
He has appeared in the
lead or as a principal is such productions as The Boys Club, Wojecck,
Top Cops, FX 2, The Magic School Bus and In the Skin of the Lion (a
radio drama).

Dominic's
father in the film is played by Timm Zemanek. Timm has appeared in such
films as Men With Brooms, The Brady Bunch in the White House, Steal This
Movie, The Real Blond and the Ref. He also stars in the CBC comedy show
"An American in Canada" which was the first pilot ever to win
a best comedy Genie Award in 2003. His other television credits include
Puppets Who Kill, Due South, The Associates, Top Cops, Street Legal, Traders,
and The Return of Elliot Ness.

Timm's
on-screen wife and Dominic's mother is real life mom and actress, Kaime
Woody Sherman. Ms Woody-Sherman is a graduate of the American Academy
of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood where she completed the 3 year program in
only 2 years. At the Academy, she was a protégé of the Emmy
Award winning director Don Richardson and executive director Michael Thoma.
While a student, she appeared
at the Charles Jehlinger Theatre in Pasadena in Days of Wine and Roses,
Torchbearers, Lovers and Other Strangers and other productions. Having
fallen in love with a Hamiltonian, she married and moved to Hamilton where
she continues to keep active in theatre as well as being involved in business,
the community and raising a son and daughter.
She was the international talk
show host of Richard Stacey's Making Money which appeared on TV throughout
North America. In addition to being in Canadian TV dramas such as Adderley
and The Judge, she was directed by Alan Alda and played opposite Hal Linden
with whom she went to bed (in the film) in the movie A New Life.

Veteran character actor, Colin
Fox, has appeared in numerous films including The Silence of the North,
Tommy Boy, The End of Summer and Angels in the Infield. In addition, he
is noted for his work on both stage and TV, and as the narrator for many
Discovery Channel documentaries.

|
Marcel's
performance as Walter, the schizophrenic man
who recounts his story in the docudrama of that name was described as
a "tour de force". Now based in Montreal, Marcel has over 20
years of experience as a musician, composer and actor. He is co-founder
of Le Theatre du Nouvelle-Ontario in Sudbury and a collaborator with Andre
Paiement which led to the founding of the musical group CANO who recorded
seven albums for A and M Records. His film credits include the bronze
winning film The Ballad of Otis Pratt at the 1994 Houston International
World Film Festival along with numerous stage plays.

Stefan
Brogren is known to fans of the TV show Degrassi High which has been broadcast
in more than 50 countries world wide. At the age of 17, he was nominated
for a Gemini for best actor for his role as Snake in that series and is
currently reprising his role as Mr. Simpson on Degrassi, the Next Generation
which is in its second year. He is a graduate of the American Academy
of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles where he was the recipient of the Michael
Thoma Award for Acting Excellence.

Dave
Devau has appeared as a principal or as the lead in at least eight films
including Home Team, Held Up, Little Men and Dark Harbour. His TV credits
include Lassie and Are you Afraid of the Dark along with both professional
and community theatre work and voice and animation.

Kristin
Gauthier is a graduate of the University of Ottawa with a B Mus in performance
and an impressive list of stage credits. She has appeared in Les Miserables
for Mirvish Productions in Toronto, Canadian Stage and Theatre Calgary
(Into the Woods), the Charlottetown Festival (Anne of Green Gambles and
Emily), and Stage West where she played Eliza in My Fair Lady.

Kirsten
Johnson was trained at the Claude Watson School for the Arts in Toronto
and is a graduate of York University. Her acting credits include roles
in such films as John Q, eXistenZ, and Switch. She played Colleen in the
TV series Sue Thomas FB Eye and has appeared in the Associates, Tell it
Like it is (lead) and Face Down. On stage, she has played Ophelia in Hamlet
and Gerti in Kafka in Love.

Michael
Longstaff is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art
and has a BA in film from the University of Western Ontario. He spent
five years playing the role of Rupert Gillis in the TV series Road to
Avonlea and was the lead in the Showtime film, Blind Faith. His live theatre
credits range from Alice in Wonderland to Twelfth Night and Uncle Vanya.

Kathleen
Munroe has won a number of awards for her work including the Sears Ontario
Drama Festival Award of Excellence in Acting, and the Award of Merit for
Acting both for her role in The Actors Nightmare. She then won another
two Sears drama awards for her performance in Children of the Holocaust
and the Hamilton Spectator Award for Best Supporting Actor in Thirteen
Hands put on by the Hamilton Players Guild. She also has considerable
experience in film, TV, radio and voice overs.

Paulette
Sinclair's film and TV work includes principal roles in The Crossing for
A&E, Wind at My Back, Down to Earth and as lead in Madge Dreams and
Chez Amore. Stage productions include Taming of the Shrew, The Miser and
Faust. She has received three Dora Nominations and one Chalmers winner
for her stage work and has trained extensively in LA, New York, London
and Japan.

Ashley
Taylor is an accomplished musical performer and actress. In addition to
being the lead vocalist in a jazz band, she has sung the national anthems
at both the Skydome in Toronto and Ivor Wynn Stadium in Hamilton. She played
Alice in Alice Through the Looking Glass at Stratford and Annie at Theatre
Aquarius in Hamilton. Her film and TV work has been in Torso, Goosebumps,
Jonovision and a number of movies of the week. |

Theresa
Noon is a graduate of York University with a B.F.A. Honours in Theatre.
She is a Sears Ontario Drama Festival award winner for Excellence in Acting for
the role of Lenya in Neil Simon's Fools. A recent film, The De-Solutions
Theory ( Morgan Avalon) appeared in the New York Independent Film Festival.
Theresa's extensive stage credits range from Into the Woods (Witch) to Forever
Yours Marie-Lou (Marie-Lou) to Rockola, written and directed by Theresa
and shown in a Toronto One Act Festival. |
